Skraping March 9th 2019

skraping1Skraping (pronounced: sh’kraping) is a unique international trekking race on sharp island rocks belonging to the category of extreme sports, which is held on the island of Pasman in March every year. Competitors at the start get a map of the island with marked check points that they have to pass in the shortest possible time. The checkpoints are placed on some of the most attractive locations of the island of Pasman and thus this race has also a role in the Croatian tourism promotion, and the promotion of the Island of Pasman as a destination for active holidays.

The race is divided into three categories - Ultra of approximately 47 km, Chellanger of 25 km and Active of approximately 12 km.

Kids race called Skrapic will be held under the organization of kindergarten "MOC" from Tkon. Skraping also has a  humanitarian character, and this year the funds will be donated to the Center for Rehabilitation in St. Filip i Jakov.

Within Skraping, which bears the mark of Croatian island products, it will also be possible to visit the fair of island products which will be attended by numerous exhibitors, both from the island of Pasman and with other Croatian islands.
