Diving Courses (PADI, CMAS, SSI, IANTD, BSAC) 

Courses contain theoretical and practical lessons, and all the necessary materials for taking the course, and for beginners level also the equipment, weight, tanks and air fills, for the attendees is free of charge, although the equipment and the books stay property of the provider.  Your classroom sessions will be supported by books and video's under supervision of experienced instructors. The excellent visibility and comfortable water temperature guarantee ideal learning conditions for the student diver.  If you have any questions regarding these courses, we are here for you to answer them.

  • Beginners level - 299,00 EUR per person - Open Water Diver - to teach you basic diving theory and skills. With this internationally recognized license you can rent equipment and dive anywhere in the world. PADI or SSI courses are available.

    The course contains 3 different parts: theory, swimming pool or confined water training and deep or open water training. The open water course can be done in 5 days. The first 3 days you will learn all the basics of scuba diving in shallow water (1 to 3 meters). On day 4 and 5 you will make 4 deep water dives (from 5 to maximum 18 meters) to repeat all exercises you have learned in the first 3 days. During these 5 days you will have to read your theory book (5 chapters). After the theory you have to make a multiple choice exam with 50 questions. When you have passed this exam and when the instructor has evaluated your water skills sufficient after the last training dive, you will be the proud owner of the "open water diver" brevet which allows you to rent equipment and dive anywhere in the world.

     

  • Advanced level - from 255,00 EUR per person - Advanced PADI OWD specialty courses - it is designed for those who want to further their skills. The equipment is not included in the price.

    The PADI advanced open water diver course contains 5 experience dives. Together with your instructor you choose 5 disciplines. Night diving and deep diving are compulsory. The theoretical part is a review of the open water book and the theory of each specific disciple. There is no exam at the end of the course. The course can be done in 2 days. The price is 230,00 EUR pro person.

    SSI qualifies you as a advanced open water diver on the moment you have logged 24 dives and are qualified in 4 different specialties.
    For a specialty you always have to make 2 dives, video, theory with question review and final exam. So with SSI you can slowly built up your experience until you are advanced. It is also possible to do 4 specialties in a short period. It will take a minimum of 4 days to do all disciplines. The price of an advanced diver package with 4 specialties (Boat, Deep, Night and free choice - Nitrox and Stress & Rescue with additional costs - total 6 dives) is     299,00 EUR pro person. 


  • SPECIALTY COURSES - pack for  169,00 EUR per person  - Navigation, Deep Diving, Night Diving , Drift Diving, Wreck Diving, Boat Diving, Dry suit Diving, Nitrox diving, Stress & Rescue, Equipment Techniques, UW Photographer, First Aid and Resuscitation and Dan O2 provider. You may decide to do a Specialty diver pack with only 2 specialties (Boat diving and free choice - Nitrox and Stress & Rescue with additional costs - total 3 dives). The equipment is not included in the price. 


  • PROFESSIONAL Courses - Dive leader (SSI and PADI), Associate Instructor, Instructor, Specialty Instructor, Advanced Instructor, Dive con Instructor, Master Instructor (SSI). A Master package with 4 specialties - Nitrox and Stress & Rescue with additional costs - 499,00 EUR per person. The equipment is not included in the price. PADI Divemaster training 550,00 EUR per person.

Samograd - the most southern Island of the Kornati archipelago. We find a beautiful colorful wall, richly overgrown with Gorgonias, on the south-east side of this island. A rich variety of marine life, including rare Nudibranches, make the long trip to this island more than worthwhile. Quality: ***** Level: All divers Distance: cca 3 h Opat - there is a 3 km long wall from the south point of the main island Kornati (Tanka prisliga) up to the Opat bay. The wall goes down in steps and after 10 to 15 m it drops down to 45 m. The wall is covered with yellow Gorgonias and there are many caves and passages. Because of its length we are still exploring this wall and every dive brings new surprises. Quality: ***** Level: All divers Distance: cca 2 h Panitula - the longest distance we can cover during our daily tours. We anchor at the north side of the islands. There is a narrow and shallow passage between the Islands and the open sea. We dive from this passage and find a beautiful wall with caves, passages covered with Gorgonias and sponges. There are more fishes then on any other location on Kornati. Quality: ***** Level: All levels Distance: 3,5 h Kamenar - 2km südlich von dem Insel Zut. Wir ankern über eines Felsenriff, das beginnt an 7m Tiefe. Fon dem Riff finden wir eine Wand 60m tief, und cca 300m lang. Es hängt ein bisschen nach Rückwärts und ist reichlich bewuchsen mit viele weiche Korallen, Schwammen und weiße Korallen. In viele Höchlen wir finden Krabben, Hummer, Aal, und tiefer auch Katzenheie, deren Eier hängen hier reichlich von alte Fishersleinen, so wie auch Brassen, Meerbarben und Meeräsche, und früh und spät im Saison auch kleinere Thunfische, Schellfische und Makrelen. Da sind auch viele rote und gelbe Gorgonia's. Diese stelle verdient mindestens 2 Tauchgänge. Quality: ****  Level: allen  Distance: cca 1 St 45 Min. Kukuljar - a small Island with a lighthouse on the south side of Murter. The island looks like a giant mushroom under water. The walls drop in steps from 5 till 45 m. Very colorful walls with yellow gorgonias and lots of fish on the north side. You can dive around the island in about 40 min, if you stay on 20m and you will see it all. Very, very nice dive for everyone. Quality: **** Level: All levels Distance: 2 h Francesca di Rimini - this 50 m long Italian warship was hit by a torpedo during the second world war and sank immediately in front of the Island Kapri (about 25 km south of Biograd). The ship is in very good condition and the keel lays at 45 m depth. On and below deck we still find many grenades she was transporting on her last voyage. The impact on the ship of the torpedo is also clearly visible. This dive is for the experienced divers only but really worth the effort. The second dive is made at a reef nearby the Island Kapri. Quality: **** Level: Advanced divers with a minimum of 50 dives and deep dive experience. Distance: 2,5 h Mana south - the dive sites are indeed wonderful here. At the south we have a wall 120 m deep with a beautiful overgrown chimney. You can swim through this chimney and you find entrances at 32, 27, 23, 17, 15 m. We find crabs, lobsters, langoustines, octopi and many, many fishes. Also you will see many yellow gorgonias and huge species of axinelle. We have also spotted large examples of the sea-star "asterina gibbosa". Quality: ***** Level: All levels Distance: 3 h 15 min Mana north - the dive sites are indeed wonderful here. At the north side starting on 18 m there is a very big overhang full of anemones, sponges and weeds. We also find lots of yellow gorgonias many fishes and octopi, langouste and moray. The wall goes over 60 m and the visibility here is minimal 35 m. Quality: ***** Level: All levels Distance: 3 h 15 min Borovnik - this is an uninhibited island. On the west side we find a very abundantly overgrown wall up to 110 m deep. We can make 2 dives here. A drift dive from north to south and a dive from a small bay on the south side where we can anchor the boat. The wall is overgrown with gorgonias anemones sponges and with coral. We also encounter various lobsters, conger eels, moray eels and many octopus. A variety of fish swims in front of the wall. At depth we can find species of red coral. Quality: ***** Level: All divers Distance: cca 3 h Dambacher reef - small island close to Dinarici with a nice drop wand. Max depth here is 18 m. The drop off has many holes and small caves with a rich variety of small marine life. Good place for macro photography. Quality: *** Level: All levels Distance: 1 h 25 min Dinarici - this plateau is located between the islands of Zut and Pasman and the island of Pasman. The top of the reef is only 1,20 m below the surface. Maximum depth 40 m. On the north-east side we have two reefs up to 24 m deep. Many nicely overgrown with holes and many colorful rocks. Past the reefs we find a drop off up to 55m with langoustes. This site offers a good time for everybody. Quality: **** Level: All levels Distance: 1 h 25 min Loncaric - the location of this small plateau is on the south side of the Island Vrgada. The underwater landscape contains a plateau with a small canyon and a drop off from 30 to 40 m. Octopi, conger eels and many small fish species are found here. On the wall we also find langoustes and yellow gorgonias. Quality: **** Level: Gorgonias for advanced; the rest for all levels Distance: 1 h 40 min Misine - a very small island with a lighthouse in front of the island of Murter. The Island is the top of a crater with a size of ca 60 by 140 m. The walls of the crater have many holes and small caves, between 7 and 42 m. Its inhabitants are lobsters (Galathea) octopus and many other species. The sandy bottom of the crater is covered with long sea grass (Posedonia Oceanic). In this sea grass we find several big John Dory. Quality: **** Level: All levels Distance: 1 h 45 min Gnalic - the site is closed at the moment due to archeological excavations. On the south side of this island, at 24 m, the remains of a 16th century Venetian cargo ship are found. There are still many artifacts around the wreck. The nearly completely intact cargo containing an enormous variety of trading goods and canons is exposed in the Biograd museum. It is really worth a visit. It is the richest cargo of Venetian glass ever found. Quality: ***** Level: advanced Distance: 30 m Osljak - it is about 40 min sailing from Biograd. We often visit this small island for the second dive. On the south s de we find already on shallow depth a nice wall Here we find many sea slugs like the Giant Doris. Many small and medium fish species can be found here between 4 and 12m. On the west side there is a rocky and sandy bottom where on several occasions we spotted eagle rays and butterfly rays (extremely shy) If you dive past 12 m you dive over a meadow of sea grass. Here you can find big Neptune shells. Though this site looks a bit boring in the beginning: with a good eye it appears to be very rich of many smaller species of Adriatic sea life. Quality: *** Level: All levels Distance: about 40 min Gangaro Mio - bay located in the middle of Gangaro Island. This location is famous for its long nose seahorses. The camouflage of the sea horses is incredible but our dive guides have a lot of experience in finding them. The photo to the right are 2 seahorses in a love dance. Around the seahorses we find a Stonehenge like landscape. Between 28 and 45 m to the south we find a small but very lively reef. The reef houses a nearly 2 m long Conger eel and several kinds of big lobsters. On the sandy plate more inside the bay around 15 m we often find stingrays and flying gurnards. All together a rich dive site with lots of variety. Quality: **** Level: All levels Distance: 1 h Gangaro North - Gangaro is a 2 km long island with 3 houses and some fishermen. It is located south of the island of Pasman. At the north-west side we find a wall from 18 till 45 m. Many smaller fishes andoctopi. Between 12 and 6 m we find sea grass with many rocks. Here you find many species of marine life, with luck and a very good eyesight even sea horses. Quality: **** Level: All levels Distance: 1 h Kosara- this island is located on the south side of Pasman. It is nice for first and second dives. The old lighthouse was blown from its pedestal into the sea by a storm in 1996. We find the remains between 8 and 12 m. The cylinders are nice overgrown and accommodate many scorpion fishes. At 30 m depth there is a wall and reef. Between 5 and 7 m there are many nice rocks with Nudibranches and small fishes. Very colorful because of the daylight at shallow depth. At 15 m cold fresh water enters the sea. Here we have a reversed thermocline. Quality: *** Level: All levels Distance: 1 h Misi - the top of this unmarked reef has a depth of only 0,80 m. No need to say that it is very dangerous for all boats especially because the reef is in the middle of the canal between Pasman and Zut. When we ascend we immediately see one of the victims of the reef because already at a depth of 7 m we find the first remains of a German cargo boat carrying ammunition boat and coal. It struck the reef and exploded in 1943. Remains of the ship called 'Boran's' wreck are found on 12, 22 38 and 42 m. The remains of the wreck shelter octopi and many scorpion fish. On the north-west side of the reef at 19 m we find a old shark cage which has been used by Hans Hass in the 60ties to film blue sharks. It is pity that we do not find these sharks any more between the islands due to heavy fishing and traffic. Near the shark cage there is a nice wall with conger eels and many Nudi branches. There is always a slight current around this reef so we find lots and lots of fish. On the south side between 35 and 50 m we find a small reef with lots of blue Gorgonias. Lovely and very interesting dive site. Quality: **** Level: if there is a moderate current only for advanced, otherwise for all Distance: about 1 h and 35 min Veliki Babuljasi - small island located in front of the island Zut. On the south side we have a reef that goes down to 60 m. Between 20 and 5 m we have many smaller fish and a several Conger eels that hide in the many small caves at the west side. Starting at 28 m we dive over a spectacular forest of rare blue gorgonias. Take your lamps to enjoy all the colors of this reef. Quality: ***** Level: Gorgonias for advanced divers . shallower levels for all divers. Distance: cca 1 h 45 min Sandela - small island located just for the shore of Zut and close to Babuljasi. An oval platform raises about 1 m out of the sea. The good part is at the south-east side. A nice wall between 0 and 12 m and after a short swim over the grass a very good wall from 15 till 60 m. Many fish species like salpa sapla and John Dory's, octopi, crabs, Nudibranches and yellow goronia's. At depth good chance dog shark. Quality: *** Level: all levels Distance: about 1 h 45 min Mali Babuljasi - small island located in front of the island Zut north of Veliki Babuljasi. On the west side of the island, between 26 to 55 m we find a drop off, about 300 m long. We dive down over sea grass to 26 m. Then we dive over hundreds of large blue Gorgonias. Between the Gogonias we find lots of fish especially on the north-west point. Lying on the sand around 40 m we very often spot Dog sharks. Between 3 and 12m all around the island there is a small wall with many yellow sponges and small fishes. Very good dive site for everybody. Quality: ***** Level: Gorgonias for advanced divers; shallower levels for all divers. Distance: cca 1 h 45 min Garmanjak - those two islands are located in open sea on the northwest-side of the Kornati and belong to the national park Telascica. We find 4 dive locations here. The southern island is called Veliki Garmanjak. The north side of this Island has a big cove with a huge wall and many caverns. On 50 m we find the wreck of a small sardine trawler. The depth goes to over 60 m. We can find many smaller fish species and yellow gorgonias. At depth we find bigger fish. On the south side we find a big canyon with caves and caverns. Many octopi, cod and John Dory have been spotted here. Mali Garmanjak is a wall up to 50 m going half way around the Island. On this wall we have often spotted moray eels (Muraena helena). Next to that again lots of octopi and yellow gorgonias. Quality: ***** Level: All levels. Distance: cca 2 h 45 min. Okljuc - this bean shaped island has a wall on the south side facing the open sea. The wall starts at 20 m is covered with fishing lines and also an old anchor chain. Dog sharks use the lines and the chain for attaching their eggs. The wall is overgrown with sponges and Gorgonias. The wall slowly disappears in the sea-bottom at a depth of 80 m. Quality: ***** Level: All levels Distance: 2 h 45 mindiving sites
