Maximum number of participants: 16 per group. Larger groups on request.

Minimum age: 8 years if accompanied by parent.

Children discount of 10% is valid for children 8-14 years of age if accompanied by an adult. A child under the age of 8 which is not participating in organized outdoor activities stays for free, second/third child or adult not participating in activities pays 50% of regular price.

DESTINATION:

Novigrad is a small fishermen village situated deep in Novigrad Sea - a bay in the area surrounded by national parks and nature reserves: Kornati Islands, Krka River, Paklenica Canyon, Plitvice Lakes, Velebit Mountain, Telascica Bay, Vrana Lake.

ACTIVITIES AND ACTIVITY LEVELS:

Sea kayaking, canoeing and river kayaking as well as hiking are included in the program as everyday activities and are suitable for all ages.

Trips are designed for flexible, energetic people who like to be active and have a spirit of adventure and a positive attitude. Our daily program is a combination of kayaking, walking, swimming, sightseeing and exploring. You can expect to paddle about 10 miles a day (four hours), but our schedule is very weather dependent. Previous kayaking experience is recommended, but not required. There’s always the option of jumping in the support van if you’re tired. The sea and rivers are friendly – they have pleasant temperatures in summer and they are not dangerous or physically demanding.

ACCOMMODATION:

Accommodation is provided in a newly renovated 3* apart-hotel “Castrum Novum” situated right on the beach, at the quiet end of the village. All apartments are air conditioned, with shower/toilet, telephone/Internet line, fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV. It’s pleasant cafe and restaurant terrace gives memorable views of the sunset over the bay and Velebit Mountain peaks. The wellness, fitness and sauna center is open, charge free for the guests of this activity program. Hotel also provides a billiard room/game room for our group meetings and planning of our next day destination.

NOTE ON THE ITINERARY:

The itinerary is subject to change depending on group abilities and preferences, weather, water levels, special events of interest and similar. Guides and trip leaders will do their best to provide the best possible but safe experience for their clients. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk that may be caused by extensive heat or cold, stormy weather or heavy traffic and similar. The provider reserves the right to alternate program without prior notice.

The stated prices are in EUR per person, based on exchange rates at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.

Prices include: 

• 7 nights in self catering apartments (with en suite bathroom, kitchenette)
• meals as noted in itinerary
• use of kayaks, canoes, paddles, life jackets
• neoprene shorts and booties in case of cold weather, helmets
• 5 days organized activities
• National Park entrance fees
• local taxes
• Saturday transfers from Zadar or Split airport, bus station, railway station upon arrival and departure
• guides and assistance
• ground transportation

Prices do not include: 

• international airfare (and other kinds of transportation) to/from Croatia
• alcoholic beverages and lunches or picnics as noted in itinerary
• items of a personal nature and optional gratuities to your guide(s)
• optional trip on day 5, but it can be booked and paid on spot.
